What are the system requirements?
BiuWrite runs on macOS 12+ with at least 8 GB RAM. Discrete GPUs or Apple Silicon accelerate local AI models but aren’t required. Other platform support is coming soon.
Do I need an internet connection?
No. Everything works offline once installed. You’ll only need internet to download updates or connect your own AI key if you want cloud model access.
Can I export my projects?
Yes. Your work stays in local files you can back up anywhere. Export full manuscripts, scenes, or notes to Markdown, DOCX, or JSON with a single click.
