What's new in BiuWrite

Welcome to the invite-only beta

• Version 0.23.0 is rolling out through invite codes. Join the waitlist on the hero section to secure an invite and we’ll notify you via email or Discord.
• The desktop app is local-first. Your notes, AI presets, and provider keys stay on-device unless you choose to sync or export.

Draft faster with an AI co-author

• Work in the Co-author desk from the Momentum section: keep your manuscript on one side and AI thread on the other, so you never lose focus when suggestions arrive.
• Tap into novelist-ready prompts such as “Outline”, “Show-Don’t-Tell”, “Tighten by 15%”, and “Brainstorm Buddy”. They’re tuned for long-form storytelling and surfaced right beside the editor.
• Automations sit within arm’s reach. Kick off rewrites, summaries, grammar passes, or beat planning with a single button when you’re stuck.
• Switch AI models whenever you like. Bring your own OpenAI, Claude, or local keys—BiuWrite doesn’t add markups or hide usage behind subscriptions.

Keep continuity with the Story Bible

• Store characters, locations, lore, and research in one place. Each entry links back to the scenes and notes it powers, so details never drift.
• Ask questions like “When did Neon leave home?” and the Story Bible points you to the exact page, keeping you anchored in your own canon.
• Outline books with three-act scaffolds, pacing nudges, and plot-hole reminders so every arc stays on track.
• Generate worldbuilding prompts when you need inspiration—cultures, geography, or history—while staying consistent with the references you’ve already pinned.
